Appeals
We understand that going through the appeal process can be a worrying and anxious time for you and we are here to assist and offer help. If you child does not get accepted into your preferred school, you can appeal the decision. You can appeal if you believe that the school failed to apply the admissions criteria correctly. And you think there is a strong reason why your child should go to the school.
All appeals, whether they are transfer applications or year of entry applications, will follow the timetable as follows:
Place Offered | Appeals to be lodged by | Appeals to be heard |
1st March 2023 | 31st March 2023 | w/c 15th May 2023 |
It is possible to lodge an appeal after these dates and it will be heard as soon as it is reasonably practicable.
Before appealing, we would advise that you read all of the guidance provided on the Cheshire East website: https://www.cheshireeast.gov.uk/schools/admissions/appeals/school-appeals.aspx
