Receptionist
Required: As Soon As Possible
7 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time only)
(Friday 8:30am-4:00pm)
Grade 4 (£3,058 actual salary)
The Governors are looking to appoint a Receptionist to work collaboratively with other support staff to provide effective support to the school.
Reporting to the School Secretary, the successful candidate will be enthusiastic, customer-focused, adaptable and efficient with excellent interpersonal skills to act as a first point of contact for customers phoning, emailing and visiting St Thomas More. Candidates much be able to work independently and as part of a team.
The role of receptionist is varied and includes; managing incoming calls, taking accurate messages, meeting and greeting visitors in line with appropriate safeguarding protocols, managing outgoing and incoming post and using SIMs (school’s student data base).
